Now, I get to say that Rubinstein-Salwe, Lodz, game 20 left a deep impression on me. However, I take more pleasure in reading books like Chernev. Amazon Advertising Find, attract, and engage customers. Chernev explains every move of every game. I have bought copies of Chernov’s book for friends and family, but I’m certain Nunn is correct. I could not have been more stupid in ignoring this book so long, not to mention being wrong about all of the above. Logical Chess Move by Move: My guess is that Nunn might reference Chernev in his book Understanding Chess Move by Movegiven the obvious parallel between the titles, but I’ve never looked at the book. People who bought this also bought. It was called a perfect model game – and here it was, in this book that I first saw it, despite having known about Rubinstein for a long time.
I guess the method to Chernev’s madness is that by the time you’ve completed the book, the ideas repeatedly bashed into your head are ingrained there forever. Already in the first game we are left with a position that is ” winning for white “. And he, like von Scheve in this game, were a little too awed by even great masters like Teichmann.
In other words, read this book as “very good guidelines you should not violate without an astoundingly good reason” rather than “here is the absolute truth of each move”, and you will find it quite helpful. I agree, it’s very hard to post “great” questions, and xaisoft really is doing a super job posting questions.

Describing every cheds is a great idea in principle, but it does get a little wearisome having to read about 1. Does Nunn have valid points?
One of these items ships sooner than the other. I was so obsessed with chess from the start that I played through every game in this book at a shamefully fast pace –“shameful,” in the sense that it was indicative of a waste of life or a lack of having a life.
