Book Review: Goddess Interrupted by Aimee Carter
But she decides to hate Persephone anyways. As the other gods prepare for a war that could godfess them all, it is up to Kate to save Henry from the depths of Tartarus. Henry swallowed tightly as guilt rolled through him. I thought that, given time, hard work and thoughtful application to her prose, Carter might be a good author one day.
Por eso, nunca me he llegado a sorprender en algunos de estos libros. As the novel progresses, Kate’s emotions spiral out of control and so did mine. Cartet yes, the gods are still rolling with their boring human names, leaving me even more convinced that they’re pointless and unnecessarily confusing. The fail, unfortunately, doesn’t stop there. Description Kate Winters has won immortality.
Book Review: Goddess Interrupted (The Goddess Test #2) by Aimee Carter
He was just SO adorable. View all 51 comments. During nine months of captivity, Kate Winters has survived a jealous goddess, a vengeful Titan and a pregnancy she never asked for.
Like Henry isn’t nearly as bad as Tamlin; but it’s something to consider What if the world really ends in or a zombie apocalypse occurs!! The only reason I finished it was because I also own and would like to review the next novella and novel in interrupetd series.
At this point I was in hysterics, damn it! How long does Kate last in her passionless, loveless marriage? Most of the time she’s spot-on with her thinking, and I don’t think she should have to brush off her feelings because Henry’s vulnerable. It was an engrossing story, yet it felt unfinished… I wanted more Henry! Kate is back at Underworld after her six month vacation that she and James took to Greece, and Kate is ready to become Henry’s wife and queen.
She’s convinced she can save the ijterrupted in every situation, which surprisingly she can, even though that is completely illogical. Only feeling pain and suffering. The pacing in this one fell a little flat because I felt the beginning and the middle was ultimately gearing up for a huge finale and I can fully understand that but the ending felt rushed.
This is the part where I get confused; why would Calliope have so much influence over an all-powerful or seemingly so god such as Cronus? And for the most part while goddesss Goddess Interrupted, I felt the same way.
Carter, How could you leave that big of a hang and just walk away? I didn’t like Henry. The emotions in this book were palpable. It’s one of the biggest cliffhangers I’ve read so far this year! I thought there was going to be tons of action and excitement going on, but the story cartsr revolves around Kate’s feelings towards her marriage interruptsd Henry.
Jun 09, Suzanne rated it it was amazing Shelves: Upon her return, Kate finds that Henry has regressed back to being a distant, prickly jerk. Fuck, Kate even agrees that if their roles were reversed, she would have betrayed the shit out of Ava for Henry. The Iron Warrior Julie Kagawa. It’s so alive, fresh and unique.
Cause I mean come on, there they are, these amazing writers who write the epicist books, then finish it with an awesome cliffhanger, and the next books release date is like a year away. Can Kate and Henry overcome the obstacles of their relationship and can Kate keep all her loved ones safe?
Luckily, Aimee has blessed us with brilliantly crafted novellas. If you looked up revenge in the dictionary her picture would be beside the definition. I mean to be overshadowed by a memory? Aiimee, I think a lot of the characterization problems were from a lack of research.
I have put her in danger.
I could understand both Henry and Kate and why they felt the way they did and I’m SO glad that things got sorted out! Ugh that cliffhanger on book 2 was crazy! Sorry, none of that happens.
