Abdul Alhazred is attributed as the mysterious author of the Necronomicon. Very well written and entertaining to read. The tortures endured by Alhazred and his subsequent banishment from his home contribute to his violent attitude as an adult, which leads him to commit, among other acts, thdthe murder of innocent children and assisting a cult of ghouls in their war against a rival clan.
I hope that another book, continuing the story of Alhazred, where this book left off, will be written. It starts by leading readers through his torture, mutilation, and banishment, condemned to die in the vast desert known as the “Empty Space”. Like I lahazred, some people take their Necronomicon’s very seriously.
